Safety Culture

Working in such demanding environments means that Health & Safety has been our culture rather than a system that we needed to address. We take Health & Safety very seriously and we have a Health & Safety Section that monitors the changes in legislation and ensures we comply with these changes. As a caring employer we make sure our staff has maxium protection that can be afforded to them and our regular site visits by the safety team closely monitors site safety procedures. Our site induction and safety training is of the highest standards and we ensure that all of our scaffold operatives undertake the CITB safety test. We are also accredited with the contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).

Safety Team

Our company has its own Safety Section which consists of:

· Safety Consultant
· Safety Adviser
· Scaffold Inspector

The team is charged with the responsibility of keeping our work force and their actions safe. They also ensure that no danger exits for others on site and members of the public.

To this end they make regular site inspections. Whilst on site they ensure that our operatives are carrying out safe working practices, they inspect PPE (including the 3 monthly harness inspections), they provide toolbox talks and they carry out detailed inspections of the scaffold structure.

The team produces Risk Assessments and Method Statements for our operatives and copies of these are provided to our clients.
